Hello hello hello, my lovely people! Lots has happened in this longer than normal February on Fandom, so let me share an overview:
February's Community Culture (read blog)
Fandom's first ever Community Culture blog -- a monthly post highlighting diverse people, programming, and entertainment aiming to introduce you to new people, communities, and their topics.
Since it's February, which is Black History Month in the United States, BHM and its 2024 theme, Art for Change, is a natural focus for this first Community Culture.
Read the blog for:
Celebrating Art for Change: wiki user and Fandom staff testimonies about some of the Black artists, musicians, authors, and creatives that most inspire them
Black History Month playlist: a new Spotify playlist with 180 songs showcasing some incredible Black artists who’ve been instrumental in shaping the music industry into what it is today
Shows to Watch: you can never have enough binge recommendations
Wiki BHM celebrations: discover how some Fandom wiki communities honored BHM
Technical Updates: February 9 (read blog) and February 23 (read blog)
Go check out the latest news in regards to bug fixes, known issues that are being worked on, and experiments that are and/or will be conducted!
An important one to note is the update to the CodeMirror extension for the 2010 editor (responsible for syntax highlighting). The first update was reverted after community feedback, and we're currently fixing the noted issues. Once we're done, the next upgrade will happen in smaller batches as to have a more controlled release in case unforeseen issues arise.
Reorganizing the VisualEditor (read blog)
A minor design update to the VisualEditor, both the Visual Mode and the Source Mode (aka 2017 editor), was released on February 8th with the goal to make your editing experience more accessible and intuitive. Check out the blog to find out the what, why, and how behind this change.
Some Quick Answers on QuickAnswers (read blog)
We continue to improve on the Quick Answers feature and its Special:QuickAnswers dashboard. A quick recap of some of the latest developments:
There will be a vetting period for QAs, meaning that mod teams will have a select period the time to edit new Quick Answers before they go live on the wiki.
We're working on fine-tuning the vetting period even more by creating a "faucet" system: allowing local moderators to -- for now -- ask staff to deviate from the default release schedule to one that accommodates the needs and capabilities of the community better.
The QA Dashboard filters have a counter that will auto-update as the QAs get processed to give the moderators a better overview.
In case you have any concerns about this feature, hit me up for a conversation!
As always, if you have any questions or remark about this, please let us know by reacting to this message or otherwise reach me, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Made me cry
Them ❤️
They are not in love, but that doesn't stop them from being each other's person. They love each other like brother and sister, and the reason I adore them, is because their relationship isn't a smooth sailing friendship, or a friendship where there is one low low, then everything's fine. Instead their relationship is rocky, it's natural, it's human. They are there for each other in ways that other people don't understand. They can seem harsh towards each other, pushy, aggressive, and emotional. But it's their way of showing their love for each other, through high highs, and low lows. And even if they aren't related by blood, they're the closest thing to a brother/sister that they'll ever have. They're a part of each other, and I love them for it.
Anways, after that ramble, tell me abt your fave pairing and why!

I mean, technically speaking, it would make sense.
His dad died, and (unfortunately) he was a pretty important guy. So you can expect maybe some kind of funeral. And Emmet most likely will be there.
I kinda wanna see if he can rekindle his relationship with Travis (either as friends or more). And i have a few theories as to what may be going on in Italy while he's studying.
Also, Emmet and Carina sorta bonded over the whole "My partner's a firefighter who might die any minute" thing. So maybe they might speak a little Italian with each other
But yea, just some reasons why Emmet should (and i really hope he will) return to Station 19
Exciting News that Arizona will be back in season 20 and that Meredith will be in at least 4 episodes of the 10 available.
Meredith stole a surgery from Bailey, and reminds her that her son was named after her. She says. “Your son is the devil’s spawn. He drinks the milk of a liver thief!”

Hello, hello, hello, my lovely editors! Earlier today, Fandom released a minor design update to the VisualEditor, both the Visual Mode and the Source Mode (aka 2017 editor), with the goal to make your editing experience more accessible and intuitive!
To not miss out on any information, I encourage you to read this blog and/or the updated help page about it.
If you're pressed for time, don't worry, I got you covered! To summarize, we
Renamed some of the tools (e.g. "paragraph" is now "normal text")
Shuffled some icons around (e.g. the back and forward arrow buttons are now located on the far left rather than the middle)
Hid some less-essential tools from view to make the initial editor view less overwhelming in all its glory (the tools are still accessible in dropdown menus)
For the 2017 source mode: we removed the options available from the menu icon (those three stacked horizontal bars) -- If you want those back, you can customize your toolbar to access them from there)
For the 2017 source mode: we used the menu icon to replace the gear icon
Are you more of a visual person? Check out the design mocks detailing the new location of options below:
VisualEditor - Visual Mode
VisualEditor - Source Mode (aka 2017 source mode editor)
As always, if you have any questions or remark about this, please sound off in the comments or otherwise reach me, I'd love to hear your thoughts! Happy editing!

Are we getting new Station 19 & Grey's key art? EVERY ABC show has released its new seasons' key art.. except for both Station & Grey's? Is it coming? Why are these shows the ONLY ones not to get it yet?
On January 31st new official trailer for both Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 will be released from ABC
A big part of why I don't like watching grey's now is how everyone talks about Meredith. They talk about her like she's almost like she's the greatest surgeon ever, can't make any mistakes, and when someone goes against her (ie Bailey, April, or Amelia) it's like the show frames them as the villain.
I think this started around S11-S12. S11 was the first season without Cristina (who I think would've kept Mer grounded like she did Alex), Derek was in DC and she had like over 100 surgeries with no deaths. So the residents idolizing her.
Then S12, first season w/o Derek (who would've also kept her grounded). She's chief of General surgery, which makes no sense bc it's like her 2nd year as an attending, and even though she didn't call any of Derek's family, the show frames Amelia as the villain for being angry at Meredith.
Skip to S14 when the solidifies her as perfect after she wins a harper avery 🙄 even though the abdominal wall transplant had been done 2 other times.
My point is, what made Meredith likeable in the old era of grey's was her being imperfect just like all the characters are imperfect, and this made for awesome storylines. But when she's put on pedestal it just makes her boring and annoying.
So it says that Lucas Adam's is from Connecticut. If we look into where each Shepherd Sister is, we can find out who Lucas Adam's mother is. It might be Nancy! On Nancy's page it says that she lives in Connecticut and she has atleast 2 children.
So this means that Nancy may be Lucas Adam's mother!
After the reunion at the Emmys do you think we will see Alex and/or Izzie in season 20?
I’m hoping to see Jackson again, at least…
Alex Landi is reprising his role as Dr. Nico Kim in Season 20. Do you think that he and Levi will be endgame?
I hope so, fingers crossed.
Kevin McKidd wrote on his official instagram page that he will direct the first episode of season 20. For the first time in years Debbie Allen will not direct the first episode of a season, but instead she will direct the other episode in which Ellen Pompeo will be a guest star. Thus, it’s official that Meredith will appear in at least 2 episodes of season 20🤩
